- The fabrication process for the orthosis:
All raw materials are prepared. Plastic
parts are injected and molded and all
layers of the liner are cut and connected.
The pneumatic air pump is integrated to
the liner. The range of motion (ROM)
hinge and aluminum uprights are
installed on the brace. The finished
assembling braces are carefully
inspected and packed for shipment.
- The indications for use of the orthosis:
It is intended to increase stability and
help reduce pain and edema following
post-operative procedures or trama, e.g.
soft tissue injuries, grade 2 and 3
sprains, achilles, tendon raptures or
stable fractures. It enhances patient's
mobility and reduces foot/ankle swelling
and inflammation.
